Spine Research in Motion – Conference Celebrating 5 Years of the Chair in Spinal Neurosurgery

On 3 October 2025, we celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Chair in Spinal Neurosurgery, held by Prof. Dr. Henk van Santbrink, with an inspiring conference entitled ‘Spine Research in Motion’. This event offers a unique glimpse into the dynamic field of spinal research – from completed studies to promising ongoing projects.
The programme features contributions from both current and former PhD candidates of the research group and researchers of closely affiliates centers of the research group, alongside keynote lectures from leading international experts including Dr. Anna Macdowel (Uppsala), Dr. Andreas Demetriades (Edinburgh), and Prof. Dr. Paul Willems (Maastricht), who will share insights on key topics in spinal surgery.
This conference serves as a meeting point for all professionals with an interest in spinal care and research – from medical specialists (and trainees) to researchers, physiotherapists, rehabilitation physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
